You will build your relationship with the Remuneration Committee and develop the Compensation & Benefits strategy/direction of travel.

Senior Principal Reward
Senior Principals will work closely with colleagues in leading and managing complex and/or custom and/or multi work-stream solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. This is the level for highly experienced consultants capable of working with senior leaders in client organizations across a broad range of offerings.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop profitable business through effective client relationship building, account management and collaborative working with colleagues across the enterprise. Manage and expand relationships, including beyond technical buyers to business leaders, to increase opportunities and further impact clients’ business success.
- Develop hypotheses about client business issues based on sound analysis plus client, sector and industry know how. Leverage insights to define, recommend and /or co-create strategic innovative solutions for clients.
- Lead the delivery of complex projects ensuring client satisfaction, effective project management, good communication and collaboration between colleagues. Ensure constant focus on outcomes by advancing the team’s success and capabilities through sophisticated relationship management, influence, coaching, problem solving and diplomacy skills.
- Manage client expectations and ensure project members are sufficiently enabled to meet client expectations. Assess and measure the impact of our work on our clients business.
- Support relationship development with large key clients as part of an account team. Act as relationship manager for large and complex clients including those with international points of contact and needs.
- Lead proposal writing and shaping of opportunities for complex/medium sized clients. View business issues from multiple expertise angles and leverage our deep expertise to offer solutions that integrate across the business. May take the lead as subject matter expert working with relationship managers / sales leaders to shape significant commercial proposals that meet client needs.
- Deliver high quality work as an expertise lead that meets or exceeds client expectations.
- Lead and/or contribute to thought leadership and /or research, managing relationships with business and thought leaders in a defined expertise area and speaking on national (possibly international) platforms to enhance and extend the brand.
- Continue to deepen and broaden own consulting skills, business understanding and expertise to enable an expanded viewpoint on the issues impacting clients. Actively look for opportunities to support the development of colleagues through mentoring, timely feedback and project-based development/coaching.
- Has a deep understanding of solutions, product offerings, advisory point-of-view, frameworks, delivery tools and processes to design innovative solutions for clients. Is recognized as a national and often global resource/subject matter expert, making significant contributions to practice development, leading the national and/or global deployment of new, commercially viable products and services, in the service of global initiatives.
- Lead in the QA/Peer review process within an area of specialization. Lead in contributing best in class work products and tools to the knowledge bases.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Typically a relevant higher (Master’s or Doctorate) degree plus considerable (10+ years) relevant work experience in a consultancy and/or a client HR function in progressively larger and more complex/high impact client situations.
- Alternatively, significant work experience (10+ years) in a top tier professional services firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will work with a broad range of clients and industries in a stimulating environment, participating as an integral member of project teams to diagnose issues and design strategic solutions that support clients’ success.
Senior Consultant can expect to:
- Be the subject matter expert of Executive Remuneration – has a good understanding of different types of Long-Term Incentive Plans and be ready to provide helpful insights in front of the client.
- Self-efficient to conduct research and analysis market practices through public disclosures and internal database.
- Manage project timeline, budget, deliverables, and the team to meet client expectations and professional standards.
- Understanding project components and processes to make sure analyses are correct and communicate effectively with the project stakeholders.
- Able to articulate the firms Point of View, thought leadership, and proprietary solutions in front of the client.
- Understand the client’s pain point and translate that into human capital needs.
- Leads or participates in business development activities, including proposal writing, client presentations, and facilitates client workshops. Develop a long-term relationship with the client.
- Proactively supports the consulting team in peer review, brainstorm of solutions, and various project tasks as needed.
- Help write and structure client presentations, including developing recommendations presented to HR leaders, senior management, and executives.
REQUIREMENTS
- University graduate with at least 5 years of relevant working experience
- Experience working in the Human Capital practice as an advisor is preferred
- Proficiency in English is a must. Proficiency in Cantonese & Mandarin Chinese preferred.

- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail

Board Relations
- Work on Board of Directors annual payout by coordinating the details with Board Relations Team
- Prepare the Board of Directors payout file and share the same with the Finance team for payout
- Assist in any other Board related backups/information as requested by the Rewards Head
Staff Cost Budgeting
- Prepare detailed staff cost assumptions as per elements and submit to the finance team
- Monitor finance entries and validate the final outcome with the built model
- Simulate projections related to policies
- Support for reforecast/re-budgeting
Monthly Staff Cost Monitoring
- Monthly Staff Cost monitoring by elements and validate any gaps
- Prepare CTC reposts
- Support CTC requests from HRBP teams
- Support in efficiency drive by conducting CTC analysis
- Support Head of recruitment with Costs, CTCs related to employee movements, contract renewals.
Payroll Support
- Ensure that the commissions files are received on time for payouts
- Prepare analysis on Commission payouts for all teams
- Seek approvals on the commission payout from the Rewards Head on time to ensure timely payout of commission
- Validate all incentive payouts in line with the budget
Employee services support
Support the employee services team to validate salary changes as and when needed in order to adhere to the new framework

Mission
